Dear Candidate,

Deputy Chief Executive and Assistant Chief Executive (Human Resources) - Herefordshire Public Services

Herefordshire Council and Herefordshire Primary Care Trust are coming together in a deep partnership to create Herefordshire Public Services. We are developing a strong track record in working together, building on the benefits that we have accrued over the past few years. We are making the optimum use of our respective statutory powers and working closely with staff, non-executive directors, members and partners to deliver further service improvements, to the citizens of Herefordshire. Through combining resources and reconfiguring the way in which services are delivered, we are leading the way through building a joint management team across the partnership, which is already providing the leadership we need to establish the necessary cultural and organisational changes. There is already a high degree of interest in how the partnership performs from within and beyond the county.

Key to this change are the Deputy Chief Executive and Assistant Chief Executive (Human Resources) roles, which will be demanding in delivering the expected performance outcomes and in managing in a complex, multi-stakeholder public sector environment. This presents an exciting challenge and a real opportunity for the right person. Both of these roles will be central to shaping the future of the Herefordshire Public Services.
